I like my DHX 5, but if there is something better out there - I'd consider it. So if I could sidetrack this for just a moment? How does the DHX Air work, bandit? Is it like the RP3, or is it like the RP23 BV? Or is it a different from either of them. restricting the oil flow) when you use the switch, rather than the more sophisticated BV which has much more control over the shock stroke The RP2 / RP3 just rely on "firm compression" (i.e. I recently spoke some time talking to the guys at Mojo here in the UK (Fox Distrib.) about the differences between the DHX Air (which I own), the RP2 (which I own on another bike) and the new RP23 BV shocks (which I am looking at in the XV version, to replace my DHX Air) and it was pretty interesting, but quite technical to understandīasically its going to make your bike pedal better - the pro pedal works at the beginning of the stroke to control pedal bob, but with a smoother transition into the longer stroke I would with the RP23 BV - its a very different technology to the old RP2 / RP3 series shocks
